(Fort McMurray, AB, December 31, 2015) – MacDonald Island Park was the spot for the family-friendly party of the year on December 31 as the community gathered to ring in the New Year at The CRAZE presented by Fort McMurray REALTORS®.
The annual family-focused New Year’s Eve extravaganza was a tremendous success as thousands of attendees enjoyed the free festivities. This year marked the first time Shell Place was used as a venue for the event in addition to the Suncor Community Leisure Centre.
“This year it was truly a delight to showcase the new amenities at Shell Place, as well as the amenities at the Suncor Community Leisure Centre, during The CRAZE,” said Annette Antoniak, Chief Executive Officer of the Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo (RRC). “Some new events and activities, including the first time the Molson Outdoor Rink was opened to the community for public skating, made this year a truly memorable event for all those who attended.
